why would you even inquire about shooting hogs if you don't give a flying crap about them? besides, they're not any fun to shoot.

While I wouldn't pay to hunt hogs any more than I would prairie rats, I would like to hunt them some day. Someplace where they are 24x7x365 with no limits.

Before he passed and the ranch was sold, a local rancher considered my prairie rat and coyote eradication efforts a 'valuable service' and allowed me to hunt deer and antelope on his place in return. Fair trade but I would have happily settled for the varmints.

A hog forum would be of interest to me as its big on my bucket list.

I take a few people hog hunting when I go to put corn in feeders. We usually get a few. We trap them pretty hard. It's fun to get 8 or 10 in a big round pen, hammer them with AR's.

I really expected to get more traction with this...

I don't think I'd ever tire of doing that. Cool video(s) - thanks for sharing.

I've pondered that thought for a long time. We went to Georgia on a pig hunt and I enjoyed it. The prices to hunt a varmint are a little steep. Of couse one wants to charge what the market will bear.

The reason one doesn't put beans in chilli, is because, then, it would not be chilli, it would be beans with meat! If it was invited here, we ought to be able to tell you what it is. smile captdavid

This! They're vermin, nothing more. Western Oregon has got enough to be a problem. I don't think you even have to have a licence.
