Yes, I was using about max .223 data. Some 5.56 book figures show heavier loads.

For my coyote hunting AR the 65gr SGK with Varget has been the magic combo. recently though I ran out of my original lot of Varget that was made in 1995 when it was introduced, the newer Varget is not the same I have not come up with a good load yet

I shoot the 65 gr SGK in my 7, 8, 9 and 10 twist .223's/5.56's over 27 grains of Varget. I get real close to 3000 in the 20" barrels, haven't chronographed the 16 and 18 inch ones.

This load, at 2.240 LOA works in all my rifles and gives exceptional accuracy. I have killed good sized deer out close to 300 yards with it.

Should be good pig killer
