29 pages and counting is a testament to his character. He raised the bar here and we are better for it.

Godspeed sir.

Bob was a great guy that I enjoyed talking to & we exchanged a few things; I will surely miss his presence here.

Yes, Bob hunted that elk from Elk Mountain a few miles west of Laramie.

Oh this is so sad. I just found this post. I didn't know Bob personally but shared a lot of PM's with him. He always' displayed the patience and wisdom I pray for on a daily basis. My prayers go out to his family and friends.

Bob just turned 67. I took great joy in reminding him I was his senior by about 50 days.

We have been pals since 1981. During that time I averaged talking to him about once a day.

Bob was living in NH when he started here so his moniker "BobinNH". He talked me into joining so I used "RinB" Rick in Boise.

A few years thereafter he moved back to the Boston area.

When I saw that Bob had passed on, I was caught without words. He was too young. Bob and I have shared conversations over email, text, and phone over the years, and I feel a personal loss, not to mention that the CF has lost a significant, and a very valuable contributor. May God be with his family and loved ones.

BobinNH was a fellow whose opinions I respected. I am sorry to hear of his passing.

His obit on the funeral home website.

Click on "Robert L. Farese". It has a picture and more details about his personal life. Who pictured Bob as a young professional accordion player for weddings, anniversaries, dances, and the like? smile

The forums can be impersonal but Bob was not that guy. Our exchanges went one direction, him sharing insights and ideas with me.

Very nice guy, knew his stuff.

I am bummed at the loss of someone I never had the chance to speak with in person...

I know, y'all know I was joking.

I never thunk about Bob as a musician. Not a bad thing, just never crossed my mind.
