For sale: Montana Rifle Company Model 1999 6.5x55, left hand action. Comes with original box and paperwork. Rifle is in overall excellent condition. Action operates smoothly and I have had no failures to feed, fire, extract or eject. Round count is 146. The only cosmetic defects I can find are the usual wear line on the feed rail from the bolt, a small scuff on the butt that doesn't go through the finish and a faint smudge of paint on the barrel from the white painted pegs on my home made gun rack. Price is $950 plus actual shipping within the USA. Money order or other certified funds. No trades needed. I'll be glad to answer any questions but first "I'll take it" on this thread or via PM gets it. Your dealer must accept shipment from a non-FFL dealer.On the shipping cost, it comes in a large box but based on similar size and weight packages sent by FedEx ground with full insurance and adult signature I would estimate it to be somewhere between $27 to the upper $30 range depending on where your dealer is, but I will work up an exact quote from ZIP code 83706. I'll be glad to ship via USPS or UPS if you prefer. As always, I offer a three day non-firing inspection. If you are unhappy with it for any reason you may return it within three days of delivery in the same condition as received before making the FFL transfer and I would refund the $950 cost of the rifle, but not the shipping fee.
