I just got this a couple months ago and have to let it go. Too many irons in the fire and decided to go a different route. Nice shape. There are a couple marks in the finish that look like water marks. Nothing into the wood. One small rust spot on the inside of the lever. Otherwise very clean. I have lots of pictures. $900.00 shipped to lower 47. Has to be. The .356 has not been in production for many years, and they are a rare bird. If you're even thinking about one, grab this one fast. It's liable to be a long time before you see another at all, much less near this price.
America needs to understand that our troops are not 'disposable'. Each represents a family; Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, Cousins, Uncles, Aunts... Our Citizens are our most valuable treasure; we waste far too many.

Yes. Pretty sure they only made about 2000 of these in the early '80's. Well built little thumper.

I remember the old Marlin catalogs of the early 80s . Thought at time as a youngster this would be the ultimate deer gun in a lever.

I'm sure this rifle is on a lot of bucket lists for those that enjoy shooting a variety of Marlin lever action rifles. It took me a while to find the one I've got, and if memory serves me right, I bought it from a member here on the fire!

There were less than 2500 of these made. Great woods gun.
I have one and would not sell mine for this price.

A couple people have asked about mft date. 1985 I was under the impression that these were made from 1980-1983. I did see one on here not long ago that seller said was an 1984 make with a serial number that began with 16. Your serial number begins with a 15?
