Yep, pm returned. Question asked why more $ than a plain factory Savage. You don't hear comments like "beautiful" when speaking of a Savage factory rifle, so there must be something going on here. Custom wood with great checkering quality and quantity, shadowline cheekpiece, well fitted pad. Little details like weight and balance, checkered pistol grip cap, black tip. Custom barrel, good twist for long bullets. Fair question, thanks for that.
