Two mint Pythons--4" and 6". Sold way too soon. As usual, me selling something drove subsequent prices into the stratosphere.

About forgotten all the semiauto, wheelguns, and TC Contender handguns I have been thru, and sold off, let alone rifles. Would not know where to begin. Most were worthy but sold to fund others... My justification, you can only shoot one at a time Well, maybe two! Never a collector, just enjoyed shooting. No doubt we have seller's remorse...

Back when I was young and stupid, I bought an H&R 7-shot .22 with a hard rubber extended grip and a 10 inch barrel at a relatively low price at an auction. This revolver had 90%+ original bluing, but would only function as a single action, for some reason, the hammer just wouldn't trip on the double action pull. I shot it a few times and soon carried it away to a gun show where i traded it off(plus boot cash) on a Webley .45 ACP/Auto-Rim rechamber.Still own the Webley, but wish I had the H&R, as I've never seen another like it in that barrel length and condition.

A 4" blue Python I bought used back in the mid 80's, didn't have a mark on it, I can't shoot a handgun for chit, but near couldn't miss with that one.

Well, sticking to the topic, none that I can't live without, but.. I wish I'd kept the Herter's Single Action .44 mag I bought used for $90 back in 1982/3 when I was 17. It was my first handgun and I loved it! Had it a year or two, but unfortunately it wasn't legal for deer in Ohio at the time and I needed money to fund a slug gun to start deer hunting. Couple years later it did become legal. Kind of wish I hadn't sold the S&W 686 6" with the 4 position front sight, although S&W's factory drilling & tapping were WAY off on my gun. Deviating slightly from the topic, I wish I'd have bought the used American Derringer 45/70 (both barrels) for $300 at a gun show I attended in Louisville, KY in the early 90's. Kind of regret not buying the used factory Savage 116 in .375 H&H at a local gun show for $400. After going through a lot of guns and experimenting with less common chamberings, I'm finding myself going back towards what I started with. So, I wish I'd not have sold the stainless Remington 700 Mountain gun in .270 that I bought new in a dust covered box in rural southern Ohio for $500 about 12 years ago. Or the NIB Remington 700 Ti in 7-08 I bought for $750 about 8 years ago. Or the NIB Stainless 700 in .300 Win mag that, after one shot to get on paper, put shots number 2,3, and 4 into 5/8" at 100 yards.
