Look, I'm not defending this twit's statements. However, I do think she's being accurate.

My first class in Broadcasting was a overview of Communications Theory. We were taught there are inherent gatekeepers in the system that control the flow of information and thereby shape the narrative. This was 1976. I was 18. My mind was a moldable pile of mush. I spent years pursuing the dream of being in broadcast news before realizing I'd make more money in data processing.

Back with it was just three TV networks and newspapers controlling the flow of information, the narrative was easy to control. Cable started to break down that model and the Internet blew it up. Whereas before a major city might have a Republican newspaper and a Democrat newspaper, now the newspapers are dead and folks are going to Drudge and Salon and there is honest competition. On radio, Rush blew up the whole world starting 30 years ago.

Mila, bless her heart, is telling the truth. That IS her job and the only problem is that the consumers have started to figure it out.

Wanted to buy:

1) Floor length leather coat. 44 Long
2) Jack boots. Size 12 1/5.
3) Freshly starched brown shirts.
4) Case or two of Swastikas.
5) Throw in a few ounces of really good crank if ya got some handy.
