CBS must have been somewhat frugal in those days.

Every time old Matt got shot, and that was about every eight episodes, he was shot in the left shoulder.
CBS must not have wanted to ruin only one of those pink shirts.

No horse$hit in the street either. No horse taking a dump or a leak any time on the show.

And everybody wore the same cloths all thru the movie which might have lasted 4-5 days.

The Mayans had it right. If youre going to predict the future, its best to aim far beyond your life expectancy, lest you wind up red-faced in a bunker overstocked with Spam and ammo.

Watching an old Wagon Train Christmas show, and the children sing like a professorial choir.

Was watching Rio Grande other night. Capitaine St. Jacque, played by former US Marine and former foreign légionnaire Pierre (Peter) Ortiz was wearing the Legion d'Honneur on his uniform. He rated that award along with 2 Navy Crosses! He was an interesting individual.

There is a new book out on him I have to read. I believe it is titled "To Live A Man's Life".

Simply amazing all the items that could appear from the saddle bags, or the Conestoga wagons .

I love it when the story takes place in the 1880's, but they all carry Model 1892 rifles....

Yup, and after firing dozens of BP loads through them, they could still hit a gnat's eye, from the hip of course.

What fresh Hell is this?
