OP mark shubert Campfire Ranger M Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 16,384 Las Vegas NM	My son has a Para-Ord 1911 that shoots high. we're looking to replace the front sight with a shorter sight (can't mill off the current front, because it would get into the green dot). He'd be happy with a simple black sight, but we don't know what to order. I've heard that different 1911's have different sight cuts - hence the question.
