After hearing pro comments off and on for a while about this I PM'd Rick last night and asked if he would consider starting a Handgun Reloading forum. His answer: Sure would. Let's float the idea and see what the reaction is. So there it is. If y'all want one let's hear it. Posting this in Campfire, Handguns and BGR Reloading to catch everybody.

Why would you restrict it to handguns? It should be a Reloading Forum, then if you wanted a sub-forum for Handguns and a sub-forum for Rifles, fine.

Don Uhh....... Guess you don't look at the main forum menu much? Shootem, I'm all for it, I see quite a few posts in the other reloading forums with handgun questions.

I'm another who would like to see a handgun reloading forum!
Always wondered why there was a rifle forum and no handgun forum.

Don That's the way it's set up now. There's just not a sub for Handguns

As long as they allow discussions about whether to use the slide stop slide release, power stroke or sling shot your slide after reloading your handgun, I'm good with it.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

Don There is already a reloading forum for rifles. No, there is a reloading forum for "Big Game Rifles" and "Varmint Rifles". Just plain stupid. What, no "Target Rifles", "Plinking Rifles", and "Tactical Rifles"? Make it simple: "Rifles" and "Handguns". Don

Nothing can hurt a ruger.

I don't come on the 'fire as much anymore, tired of it [bleep] up my computer. But I've long wished for a handgun sub-forum under the reloading doohickey.

I'm good with whatever happens, but I always thought this was the handgun reloading forum.

I just went through this thread on all three forums it was posted on. I came up with:
74 For, 19 Against
Tried to only count one response per poster in each forum. I may be a few off but it's pretty obvious that there is overwhelming support for a separate handgun reloading forum.
