Respectfully, you should have a No. 6...Practice. Every day..the fundamentals you outlined.
I wore out a 40x doing just that in the basement in winter...got to HM tho.
Good shooting BTB.

Sorry, but in most people it`s not.
The latest equipment surcomvents "practice".

The latest equipment surcomvents "practice". Not when you look at the most important thing. Results. Perfect practice makes perfect
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

No argument...but most people I shot with thought equipment, new equipment..solved all problems, including the NEED to practice. I`m sure you saw the same folks...always wondering why they couldn`t get out of Sharpshooter class. But they always had the best equipment.

Those have always been around. We were the same. Except that we played both sides... didn't want the equipment to cost us, so that we KNEW when there was a bad shot or string, it was us, and not the "gun".
Helped a LOT to know that. At least for us. Helped our practice too!

You bet...when I went from shooting my CMP M-1, shot it two seasons, I knew I could shoot better than it. But tranisioning from that to the 40-x was an eye opener. I could not shoot better than that thing...so practice was in order, cause the bullet went exactly where you pointed the barrel. That was a big help.
