I've been to the fall and spring shows yearly since 1985 and have never seen anything like was alleged above.

The Ruger Collectors Association has displays & quite a few dealers who buy/sell/trade, they are usually concentrated on the west side of the lower level, which is along the wall where the upper/lower levels meet.
Just to note, the Ruger Collectors only display at the November Show. AND, for the last 3 years, the displays are representing the Ruger Owners & Collectors Society, Inc. www.rugersociety.comNo displays have been furnished by RCA members in the last 3 years. Thanks for allowing me to clarify who brings their Ruger displays.

I tend to leave my Husker hats home when in Oklahoma, too many locals seem to jack up their prices when they see it.  Probably be wearing a green Cabela's hat and a red Cabela's jacket stopping to look at any old Savage stuff.
