If this had have happened in Seattle the homeowner would have felt obligated to jump in the shower too. It's not yet required but I'm sure they're working on an ordnance.

But IMHO if you are in my house, there should be NO question, you've made the bad move and are risking your life. What happens next should always be in question and never should be illegal.

It may or may not be what any of us would do, but the fact that its being looked at is wrong IMHO.

He had plenty of time to premeditate while going between houses. I'm surprised they haven't charged him with 1st degree.

Even if he was completely within his rights, he'll pretty much have his life changed after a fatal shooting incident.

Right or wrong, he'll wish he'd called the cops. Especially in a liberal, anti gun state, where DA's and judges are elected by liberals.

I looked at the shooters pic, looks like a dude that has had pent up anger issues for decades, was just a matter of time.

+1. Obviously the guy in the shower wasn't the source of the information, the shooter ratted himself out.

The homeowner should have never mentioned the first time he went into the house. He should have claimed the guy in the shower came at him holding his "weapon" in his hand, and he shot in "self defense"....lol. Laying all jokes aside, this one ain't even close. The homeowner is going to be convicted over this, as well he should. Partly for killing someone, and partly for being so dumb.

Can't see it as a good shoot. He had every right to confront the guy when he first noticed him, and then shoot in self defense if need be, but he actually chose to leave the home, retrieve a gun, and return to just plain shoot him. If he returned, then confronted him, then was forced to shoot in self defense, that would be closer to a good shoot, but just plugging the guy after leaving the home to retrieve a gun isn't justified IMO.
