On an aside, 59 Tomahawks on a 2 square mile plot of desert sounds pretty definitive. Sure would be nice to get some live time Vids,....it's not just about the tonnage,...it's also about a very short TOT (Time on Target),....Those things landed in one big SWARM. Seeing some talk about the target being "underground",....which would make for a phased sequence of mission specific warheads. GTC

I wonder what happened with respect to the Russian S-300 and S-400 (SAM) defense missile systems around Shayrat? Would be interesting to know if the Russians turned them off beforehand and, if not, just how many of the Tomahawks made it to the target.

So now Chuck Schumer is now Chuck Norris bad azzz.... House Minority Leader Chuck Schumer broke with his fellow Democrats to praise President Trump's military action against Syria.
"Making sure Assad knows that when he commits such despicable atrocities he will pay a price is the right thing to do," Schumer said in a statement released late Thursday. "I salute the professionalism and skill of our Armed Forces who took action today."
Following the missile launch at 8:40 p.m. Thursday, some Democratic lawmakers criticized Trump for not asking Congress' permission before choosing to launch 59 Tomahawk missiles at an airbase in west Syria where it's believed Tuesday's chemical weapon attack originated.
Schumer did warn, however, that the Trump administration must "come up with a strategy and consult with Congress before implementing it."

GTC I think it's more or less a high tech B-52 strike,....except each boom is worth 1000 lbs instead of 500.
