I bought this one last fall and used it to get 5 deer in the truck. I used to just drag them up from inside the bed, but I'm getting a little older now and I'm afraid I'm going to blow out my back. This thing comes apart in 2 pieces and takes a few minutes to set up. In the amount of time it takes to set it up, I could probably just mussel it up, but I have to start using my head before I hurt myself. It's not light though, but it needs to have some strength or else it'll never last. The only problem I have with it, is that the horizontal arm isn't quite long enough. But over all, it works pretty good.

To use that on my Dodge, I'd have to lower the winch 2' or stand on the tailgate to reach it. It's fine for clearance but it's a pain to load stuff being that high.

Really?

I'm only 6'2" and have zero issues with my Dodge

But I never load deer with it. It's built for skinning and quartering
