That should be enough to make any self-respecting French citizen leery of voting for Macron. Liberals are liberals no matter where they are.

That should be enough to make any self-respecting French citizen leery of voting for Macron. Point of clarification. In France, Liberals are Conservatives. They want "liberty" from government control. More like our Libertarians. The Left over there calls themselves what they really are: Socialists or Communists. Liberals are liberals no matter where they are.
