Rifle below the SG is actually a copy of a Winchester 1892. Its a Tiger made in Spain in 1917 in 44-40. Next rifle is 1963 Fwt westerner in 264. Next is a 1960 Alaskan in 338. next is an 1892 in 32-20. Next Winchester is another 1892 in 38-40. That rifle apart is an 1895 TD in 30 govt made 1923.

Kinda looked like a 99. Actually might get one of those just because. Best friend growing up had one in 250-3000. Worked for deer for him.

No problem! Anytime I get a chance to get a first hand peek at those old Winchesters and Savages I am all about it!

You are correct South Texas. That's an old Savage mod 20 in 300 savage. And yes Mr Smith that is a well used Savage 99C in 308.

Awesome rifles BLR. Thanks for sharing.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Very awesome rifles BLR.
For me it wasn't the Model 70 as much as the lever guns. It started with Grandpa's Model 94 in 30-30 (which I now own). I also ended up with his Model 1901 10 gauge. My dream is an 1886, but I can't afford vintage so looking at reproductions. I'll still run black powder in it.
I had a Winchester nirvana moment last week. Went to the Scheel's in Overland Park, KS last week and they had the following in a glass case. 1) 1873, 4th year, round barrel, 44-40 2) 1886 Deluxe, 2nd year, 40-82 WCF 3) Model 70 Supergrade, circa 1952, 375 H&H 4) 1892, octagon barrel, 1/2 mag TD, 38-40.
Rounding those off was an 1866 Yellow Boy, 3rd year, round barrel. Oh, and it was Nimsche engraved.
He went over yonder way

Top is an 1894 made in 1895. It is in 38-55 cal. Has an oct barrel. Below that is another 1894 in 32 WCF. Has some kinda peep sight on it. Below that is Rem 760 in 300 Sav.
