I'm not a big movie buff, but I have watched many, if not most, of the western genre mentioned numerous times. Two that have not been mentioned that I do watch a few times each year are Fandango (Kevin Costner's first movie) and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada.

It ain't what you don't know that makes you an idiot...it's what you know for certain, that just ain't so...
Most people don't want to believe the truth~they want the truth to be what they believe.
The Searchers, both True Grit's, Once Upon a Time in the West, Kelly's Heroes, The Outlaw Josey Wales, High Plains Drifter, Platoon, The Wild Bunch, The Unforgiven, The Professionals, The Alamo, The Driver, The Long Riders
Many that have been mentioned, but I will add The Quiet Man Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back The Last American Hero Stripes Ferries Buellers Day Off Father Goose North by Northwest They Were Expendable
Most all of my favs have been already mentioned. I just wish "The Ghost and the Darkness" was available in Blu-ray. Another one I watch frequently is "In the Electric Mist". Think I'll watch "Sicario" again tonite!
Not necessarily by choice, but when and where I grew up there was only one knob on our televisions that mattered -- the on/off/volume knob. There was only one station we could possibly get, unless the weather was too bad to get that. Any of you who can remember what was on another knob between 13 & 2, have probably forgotten how many times you've seen "The Wizard of Oz", "Ben Hur", and "The Ten Commandments". Crap one of my ex's is still pissed off about the house that fell on her sister.
Bullitt Almost every Bond movie Death Hunt Blues Brothers Animal House Spinal Tap Goodfellas Ronin Used Cars (Once I watched the part where they jam Jimmy Carter's speech and blow up the Mercedes something like thirty times in a row and laughed every time. "That price is too high". Just can't help it.)
Here a two that are worth seeing again and again... Breaker Morant Apocalypto...
It was Jerry "Mad Dog" Shriver (SFC E-7)who said: "No, no, I've got them right where I want them -- surrounded from the inside." http://www.macvsog.cc/1969.htm
Jaws Lonesome Dove Boondock Saints Zoolander Super Troopers True Grit (John Wayne) The Shootist Big Jake Club Dread Tombstone High Strung (1991) Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back Indiana Jones trilogy The Princess Bride They Call Me Trinity Trinity is Still My Name Ferris Bueler Joe Dirt Nacho Libre Napoleon Dynamite I Heart Huckabees Swiss Family Robinson Men in Tights Airplane! What About Bob? Planes, Trains and Automobiles Three Amigos Josey Wales Evil Dead 2 Wedding Crashers Quigley Down Under
I bet I've seen Tombstone at least 100 times. The Searchers at least 50 times. And all the other John Wayne Movies at least 25 times each. Others I've seen multiple times would include:
Quigly Down Under Die Hard 1 & 2 All the Indiana Jones Movies Lonesome Dove Dances With Wolves Last of the Mohicans Dazed & Confused The Big Lebowski Jeremiah Johnson Mountain Men Any and all of Clint Eastwood's Movies Legends of The Fall A River Runs Through It No Country For Old Men Death Hunt Dusk To Dawn Desperado Road House Pulp Fiction Jackie Brown True Romance Stand By Me Saving Private Ryan Full Metal Jacket The Patriot Platoon Red Dawn Braveheart Young Guns 1 & 2 Top Gun The Last Samurai Days of Thunder 48 Hours Trading Places Harlem Nights Coming To America Blazing Saddles

"Allways speak the truth and you will never have to remember what you said before..." Sam Houston Texans, "We say Grace, We Say Mam, If You Don't Like it, We Don't Give a Damn!"
Really!!!!! Not one mention of Lord of the rings trilogy ? Myself, my wife and all of my kids have seen them all too many times to count. And the hobbit is gaining ground. Used to really love legends of the fall, and do love no country for old men, probably my favorite ending in any movie ever.

Butch Cassidy. Tombstone. Predator Die Hard series My Cousin Vinny Shooter The Expendables U.S. Marshals Man on Fire Red October The French Connection Pale Rider Tora Tora Tora
A start, anyway..
Ex- USN (SS) '66-'69 Pro-Constitution. LET'S GO BRANDON!!!
I just bought "Three Days of the Condor" on VHS. Brand new still in the cellophane. What a great movie! They never show it on tv.
Just 2 weeks ago I watched Hunt for Red October on our new big screen tv. Good God, that was fantastic! About as good as when I saw it in the theater on the original release. Sean Connery, perfect as the Russian commander.
Alec Baldwin is a lib nut, but he was a great actor! Damn he was perfect in that role. He was offered the follow up roles as Jack Ryan but turned them down, didn't want to get type cast. Harrison Ford took the role, in the film where he was with the CIA and was fighting the IRA in London. Harrison Ford was very good but, damn, Alec Baldwin was perfect for that role.
If you refused to watch a movie because you disliked the politics of one of the actors, you would probably never watch a movie.
