Finally got this long project completed. Barrel set back and re chambered, cut to 24'' and re crowned, trigger job done by my buddy Billy Russell, EGW 20 moa rail, Bushnell 6500 4.5-30 x50 mm, Kryptic stock pack. She shoots also!

Nice.... I have one that I bought last year...barrel has been cut to 17" and threaded. Before it was cut... Date should be 2016 not 17

How sturdy is that scope mount? Looks like it wouldn't take much of a bump to mess things up.

Held by 2 screws and is arched so it fits to the shape of the receiver. I am making a spacer to fit under the open part of the rail then screw it to receiver.

I got a 1943 Win 52 eighteen months ago for $700. I have not shot it yet, but I can tell winchester did a nice job on design and build. congrats you guys for getting out and shooting.
