Does anyone have any first hand info on Fierce Rifles? I know they are manufactured in Canada. THANKS!

They feel good in the hand.

They use a modified Sako 85 action. In lieu of the traditional Sako interal dovetail mount, the receiver is machine to accept Rem 700 bases. Other than that they are unchanged. That leaves them susceptible to ejection issues, just like any other Sako 85.

Save your Money , had one for a short period of time and the fit and finish of them is horrible. Some of them shoot very well but mine did not. There is 3 dealers close by where I live that are now dropping them after they sell what they have instock.
They are not a modified sako action, they are there own action which is almost an identicle copy of the Sako . I have 2 ridgelines now and they are twice the gun the Fierce are.

What kind of groups are you getting with the Ridgeline?

I'm just now working up loads for a fierce in 300 ultra. haven't even reached top end yet with Retumbo and 200 accubond. Several groups sub moa with best being .600 so far. That's with once fired brass in another gun and an OAL I just chose 3.650. So no tuning to the loads yet whatsoever. I've just been going up in charge weight shooting 3 at each .5 gr increment and Chronographing the loads. So far up to 3080 fps but not close to top end yet. I like the rifle. I would suggest avoiding a scope with a target style windage turret that sticks way out there. Mine ejects pretty high. I handled the ridgeline and the fierce. Fierce fit me better. And I wanted 300 ultra chambering to replace my rem 700 ultra that my nephew is the proud owner of now.

With my 7mm I get 5-8" groups at 1000 yards with the 162 eldx and 1" at 200 yards. The 2nd one I have is a 7-08 and it awesome as well. I played with the 120's in and they were good but the 145 LRX were amazing. The load I settled on was 145lrx at 2900 fps which shoots 0.5" at 200 yards. I also shot it to 500 yards and it was 2.5" 3 shot group.
After I got mine a buddy got a ridgline in 28 nosler and it will shoot the 180 vld at 1/2 moa at 3140fps.

If you can, go handle a fierce at a retailer. Fit and finish on mine is good. I like the stock. Carbon fiber and fits me very good. Work the action, cocks on opening so bolt lift on the 3 lug bolt with 70 degree lift is a little heavier than a model 700 rem style action with 90 degree lift..
