Still trying to get used to fly fishing, using a 5wt. Some casts are good, some just suck. Am positive it would help to get actual lessons, just haven't done it yet. Anyway, here's my weekends keep

Almost lost him, took line and went deep, got himself snagged up pretty good. Felt like a branch or something solid, but got him free after two minutes or so

Last time, and doing it again, I smoked them whole (head off) and ate them warm. Just fell apart, nice and moist too

You're doing just fine and I'l echo that bluegills are my favorites. OK, crappie and perch too!

Been fly fishing for a lot of years and frankly when my good to crappy cast ratio is > 50% I'm pretty happy. Enjoy what you do.
