Good suggestion. I ended up going teeka compact. We'll see how it goes.

Decent little scope but I don't like it as much as the fixed 6x or 10x.

How is the eye box compared to something like a Leupold 1.5-5 or 2-7? Is it as easy to get behind?

Nope. Shorter, more critical eye relief. Positive clicks, though, and doubles as a hammer like every other SWFA scope. Illumination works well.

It is phillipine manufacture, as opposed to Japan manufacture of the fixed models.

I'm running a AR Mod1 1.5-4 illuminated on a Ruger Hawkeye Predator .308. It's a good power range for a woods gun. At 1.5, it's very fast up close. I prefer more Xs for load testing, but a proper target helps with that.

16" Blackout AR. If they made low 30mm Hawkeye rings I'd put one on a 375 Ruger.

Great caliber, but IMHO a 6x45 deserves a bit more glass than a 1-4. [Linked Image]

Put it on a Ruger American Ranch in 450 Bushmaster. That'd be fun all day!
