yes,it was dirt cheap. i also bought a mossberg 500 20g pump and a win 94 30-30 in very rough shape, both had lots of surface rust . i bought them both for 205.00.not very often you find those kind of bargains these days.

better check serial numbers to check if stolen guy that owned them is a ex- marine and he told me he had planned to give them to his kids but they can't seem to do anything right.he said he didn't need the money and just wanted them out of his house so the kids wouldn't steal them and sell them to buy drugs.the guy didn't even have them out to sell because his wife told him she didn't think they were legal to sell at a yard sale. they had mostly household stuff at the yard sale and i asked if they had and hunting or fishing stuff to sell . he showed me the guns after i assured his wife that they could legally sell them at a yard sale. i buy a lot of stuff and i even thought for a second that they were stolen i would not have bought them.

Too bad about the circumstances but a great deal for you though. My 260 is a lefty Savage heavy barrelled gun, I bet yours shoots about as good as mine does. I like that you have room in the magazine to load out to around 3.00" or so.
Gerry.

You did not "seen" anything, you "saw" it. A "creek" has water in it, a "crick" is what you get in your neck. Liberals with guns are nothing but hypocrites.

Always ask at yard sales, Today I got 500 rounds of Rem/Peters for $15. Years ago a customer at my shop had a guy pull out a Parker a guy had wrapped in oil cloth from under his house his brother left him and my guy bought it for $200. Guy said he wouldn't take a penny less. It appraised at $3800 at that time

I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA
