Mine is planted and coming up. With all the rain we've had mine looks like a rice paddy.

I have picked a couple hundred lbs of vegetables already. Looking like a good garden year. The last two haven't been too good.

Around here, we don't plant until close to Memorial Day. There's always a chance of frost. We had a touch of frost last week, 30F. I planted stuff that won't freeze kill a couple weeks ago and they're coming up. I planted the rest this week. Some things we started in the greenhouse and I've got most of those set out. We irrigate with drip tape. Once it's set up, it's by far the easiest way to water, other than rain of course.

You all don't have a very long growing season.

June, July, and usually most of august here. Usually we can go through Sept but not always. We always have a cold spell around Labor Day and sometimes we'll get a killing frost.

I haven't even tilled mine yet. Hoping it dries enough this weekend. I don't usually plant until May here anyhow as we are prone to get a lite frost most anytime in May.

I wonder why our user names don't give our location anymore? I thought it was just me. Hell i can only see half the fuggin screen since Rick did whatever voodoo update to this place. As for garden, despite some on again off again cool weather and rains, we're in and caged up with about 60 cages of Romas and 80linft of cukes Keeping it basic this year. Still mending from health issues and i'm *not supposed* to playing in soils while still on high dosed anti-rejection meds. But that's what surgical gloves are for.

I wonder why our user names don't give our location anymore? Go into "Edit Profile" under "My Stuff" at the top of the page and put in whatever location info you want . . .

Just finished our first real meal featuring our broccoli, sauted with shrimp, carrots, garlic, green onion, garnished with fresh cilantro from the garden as well. Been having strawberries with whipped cream over butter cookies for a few days too. Tomatoes are starting to flower.
Can't wait for the scrambled egg sandwiches on white bread with a big old thick slab of tomato on top. Breakfast of champions!
What fresh Hell is this?
