I'm always on the look out for a cheap second hand Axis/Axis II in either a 270 or 30-06. Ok the action length is the same no matter the caliber but not the stock/trigger guard/magazine length, Looking to re-barrel it to either a 6,5 Sweed (yes I want another one) or 6.5-06. Not really interested in the Creed or 260.
I already have a Sweed built on a 1940's Turkish M38 Mauser but I was looking for a modern action for heavier loads.
