I'm building a 375-284 rifle and want to use the 270 Hornady RN blems I bought from Midway. QL suggests mid-rate powders (e.g., W748, CFE223, 4895). I've got a bunch of CFE 223 that I was going to try. Has anyone used in 35 or 375 calibers? Curious about results and whether you ended up using a magnum primer or not.

I have the 375-350 Rem Mag wildcat. The 4895s have been the best, speedwise, of the extrudeds I've tried, but TAC gives even better speeds. Never used CFE-223 so don't know what that would do.
Sometimes, the air you 'let in'matters less than the air you 'let out'.
