I use 61.5 grains of RL-22 in WW brass with Federal 210 primers. Federal brass shows signs of high pressure. Groups run 1 MOA or a little better, which is plenty for anything I'd shoot with a 180-grain bullet. I get 2,750-ish in a Tikka barrel (22 7/16").

55 grains of IMR-4350 gives me right at 2,650, which is about what most factory 180's will do. Federal brass is fine for this one.

What's your pet load for 3006 with a 180 grain projectile ?

Man this is killing me. I have a new computer and all my data for loading is on the old one. I'll have to find a back up somewhere. BUT IIRC 56grs of I4350 was what I was using. There was a pretty big drop in POI between my 180gr and 150gr at only 100 yards. Trying to split the difference between the two on my next Elk hunt and loading up the 165/168 grain bullet (bonded or mono-metal).
