The article in the June 21 issue of Politico is too long to post here. In summary, apparently the FBI has instituted a bank fraud investigation. While Jane Sanders was president of Burlington College in Vermont, she arranged a huge loan for expanding the college. In doing so, the banks were told that the college had certain assets and pledges for more. It turned out that the amount of collateral was grossly less than stated to the banks. Jane Sanders was fired by the college's trustees in 2011 and the college shortly went bankrupt. If this was done intentionally, vs. a mistake, it could be prison time for bank fraud.
Apparently the investigation was initiated after Donald Trump's Vermont campaign manager wrote a four page letter plus exhibits to the Justice Department.
Don't blame me. I voted for Trump.
Democrats would burn this country to the ground, if they could rule over the ashes.

This was never suppose to happen. HRC would be there to cover it up. Now we are starting to see some of the motivation to attack and oust Trump. There could best much more at stake. What DID Hillary mean when she said "If that f - - - ing bastard wins, we all hang from nooses!"

For the past year and a half, Bernie and Jane Sanders have been able to brush aside questions about the matter. It has not gone away. With all sides lawyering up, the case is gaining momentum just as Jane Sanders is acquiring new power and prominence in the national progressive movement. It may all be nonsense, as the senator likes to say. But it can no longer be ignored.
Remember why, specifically, the Bill of Rights was written...remember its purpose. It was written to limit the power of government over the individual.
