Look on Whittaker's they have the 8x yosemltes on sale$59. I have also had good luck with Dougs open box items. I have some minox I bought for about $100 that I really like. I might add can your daughter use yours in regards to focusing etc. if not some perma focus binoculars might be a good choice. I find smaller children sometimes have a hard time getting the glasses to Focus.
