Floyd Butler's house was actually in Raceville, NY with a fabulous view of the valley below. He used Poultney, VT as it was the nearest mail station.
All guns should be locked up when not in use!

That's very nice accuracy, and a fine choice of bullets. I like the Roberts very much. Mine is a rebarreled Savage Axis with an E.R. Shaw 24' factory contour sporter barrel. It has a short throat, which is fine by me. Like the 250 Savage barrel by Shaw on another Axis I have, it's a good shooter. Gotta love those 25 calibers.

I have to work up a load for 75gr I just bought some today from a member on here and being a Jerseyboy you know if I want to use the rifle for Predator hunting here in Jersey the Bullets have to be under 80gr. Where are you in Jersey I'm in Bayville

Show the checkering around the pistol grip in particular. The receiver on the rifle at the top's barrel is stamped: "ZBROKOVKA BRNO" "NARDONI PODNICK"
Made in CZECHHOSOVAKIA 7.9 48
It's barrel is 20.5" long
