Jarrett told me the same thing. Over the life of my first 280 AI, I had it rebarreled three times. The barrels were shot out from legal culling on a very large plantation over many years down here...there was no fault with the rifle...just worn out barrels. Each time it was rechambered, the old once fired brass could not be used.
You only live once, but...if you do it right, once is enough.

"but with multiple 280AIs I find it necessary." Oh man, you are a rifle looney! Jeff So I've been told, by more than one individual. But isn't that why we're here?
I never thought I'd grow up to be a grumpy old man, but I did, and I'm killin' it.

I don't do that fire forming crap, I take standard 243 brass fill them with powder, I stuff bullets in them, and take my 243 AI hunting.
