I'm just happy gun control isn't on the radar. It has been a nice breather from the usual defensive posture we gun owners have had to endure for the past eight years or so. We should enjoy it while it lasts... come 2018, I figure we are definitely going to lose the Senate, and it wouldn't surprise me if the House goes too, because the GOP at this point is out of excuses. The GOP voter base, tired of a decade of hollow conservative promises, is going to stay home in 2018. Then it will be back to business as usual: How can we disarm the peasants?

We need to get some real Republicans running against the Rinos and Dems in '18 and 20. Then maybe some of the dead-wood in both parties will be deposed.

Former House Speaker John Boehner said at an event in Las Vegas last week that he used to “sneak into” the White House to see President Barack Obama to avoid scrutiny from the “right-wing press,” according to a report by the Washington Post, which obtained a videotape of Boehner’s remarks. Boehner also lamented the fact that Americans now have too many choices of where to go for news and information. “What’s making everything even worse today is because we have so much news, people get to choose where they get their news,” Boehner said, according to the Post. Yeah, God forbid the establishment have competition for sources of news. Folks might get a clue and start throwing the bums out.

Trump needs to spend half as much time getting these chumps in line on repeal as he does tweeting up his ego and stuff would get done. Yeah, you're right. Trump should trust the media to get his message to the people! Quit your pussyaching and focus your anger for lack of progress on the Trump agenda where it belongs: milquetoast republicans in congress that won't vote en bloc with the rest of the party.
