In the theme of continuing to test, I tried both Hybrid 100V along with H414 to see if I could get better velocity than what I was getting with RL-15 using 75 gr AMAX. Below are my chrono numbers from this weekend at 63 def. F. at 1760' ASL. Load was using Lapua brass, 75 AMAX (.020 off the lands - 2.620 OAL) and a CCI 200. I recognize I need more shots in my strings to accurately calculate SD. I was mainly looking to get velocity up. I did notice sticky bolt lift with the 37.7-38.1 gr of Hybrid 100V. All loads produced groups under 1" at 100 yards but nothing I found was excellent.

75 grain eld 31 h380 horn case ww primer... shoots four shots in the .6s for me.

60 v max 35.2 h380 horn case ww primer goes about .75

40 v max 35 grains of varget goes an inch but I only loaded four to see if they would work.

50 v max 34.5 benchmark horn case ww primer shoots about .75.....stiff load... careful goes 3750

34.5-36 grains of 4064 50 v max has shot well but I haven't tested it multiple times to be sure.

Any updates?
I'm picking mine up on Monday
Probably going to start with 75 ELDXs and 4350, would love to give R26 a go but I often shoot when it is better than 100 in the shade add have heard it doesn't like the heat.

Just got my 22-250 VLD seater. Have 75 amax and 88 grain ELD loaded up with H4350 to start. Will move to RL26 if this doesn't work. Kept getting tips on the 88s dinged up with standard seater.

88 ELD did not do great. The 75 Amax shot very well between 35.6 and 36.4 grains of H4350. Right on the lands. Loading a few up at 36.2 and going longer.

My High RPM 22-250's are Custom 700's.

Pass the 75 ELD's in a 8",with Re-15 and 200's.

Hint...............

Why would that be, I what powder and load do you suggest for a gun that will be mostly shot in the desert when it is likely to be 100 plus in the shade.
