He might be a little familiar to members here! Look for the August issue of GunsMagazine to find John's article, "The Value of TRACT". Appreciate you choosing to take a 3-15 Toric out and give it a go! The Value of TRACT, Guns MagazineClick here to see the specifics on Toric 3-15x42 Impact BDC

That's a solid review. There's conflicting info on the scope weight. How much does it weigh?

Paul,
Tract's site lists it at 20.1 ounces, as the review states. I weighed the test scope and that's what it went.

RH Clark,
The 3-15x50 weighs 22.3 ounces, and somehow that number got into the text of the review. But in the specifications list at the end of the article the weight's listed as 20.1 ounces, which is correct.

How thick is the T plex reticle? I see there looks to be a fine middle section. Do they do warranty repair here in the States?

As always a very thorough report by Mr. Barsness. I would also like to know where service is provided.
Thanks GRF

Thank you for posting. I ordered a 2-10 BDC last night. I have been looking for a hunting scope with the right combination of reliability, size, eye relief, repeatability and reticle boldness. So far I have been mostly disappointed but have high hopes for the Tract Toric. On paper, it looks like it could be really good.

John:
That was an excellent review of the scope. It seemed to pass your tests very well.
And for those watching, I bought Johns latest book as mentioned. It is a very good book and covers most all optics you will use.

Thanks GRF Hi Guys, Some repairs can be done stateside at a facility here, but others do require a trip back to LOW. As always with any TRACT optics, we will do what it takes to make sure any customer is satisfied if anything should ever happen with a TRACT optic. We want you back in the field doing what you love as its what we love to do as well.
