I have bought it new in the year of 2000. Used it on the range only. 91 rounds through the tube. Rifle's condition is good +. No visible sign of use on the stock, stainless shows some signs of age (see pictures). Accuracy is superb with any factory ammo. I don't hand load so full potential is yet to be discovered. It is much easier to shoot accurately than the T3 due to better stock design and beefier construction. Thinking of getting into long range hunting, this is your chance at a rasonable price. Without scope and rings I am willing to part company with it for $ 550 + 50 S&H/insurance.
Scope is a Nikon Monarch 3-12x40 AO. Rings and bases are Optilocks. For an additional $250 you can have the whole package.

What's the max OAL that will fit the mag and how many rounds does it hold?

It is a 3 round magazine. AOL is 3.500 inches (caliper touches both ends of the magazine).

I have a 695 in (cough, cough) 270Win. It is the most accurate factory rife i own. Shoots cloverleafs with 130gn TSX's, great trigger and smooooth bolt. This is a steal!

Same is here. It doesn't matter what factory ammo I use, it shoots it well.

That extra # makes a big difference in shootability. I love my T-3s, but I don't think I'd want one in 300 Win mag. Hell... my 270 knocks the snout of me on a cold winter day.
