According to the Ruger web site, this tang safety M77 Mark I was built in 1972. No abuse has been suffered in the years between: bore is shiny, rifling is crisp, bluing is rich and deep as were those original M77s. The woodwork is not perfect, but better than expected for a 35-year-old rifle. Click this link for pics. Original factory sights: adjustable, folding rear with barrel-banded blade up front. If the blade originally had a brass bead, it is is not there any longer. $675 shipped CONUS with insurance to your FFL. Weaver two-piece bases included. Redfield 4-12x40 and Weaver rings are NOT included, but I will entertain an offer with them if somebody wants to make one. Only eight rounds of factory ammo fired by present owner; no hand loads worked up. First "I'll take it" in the thread prevails. Optional reloading bundle for rifle buyer: NIB RCBS dies, NIB Lee collet dies, unopened bag of 50 new Remington brass available with rifle for $65 shipped USPS flat rate to buyer.

Nice peice...definetly a buyers market these days, watching rifles languish that would have been snatched up in a min a year ago....

Nice peice...definetly a buyers market these days, watching rifles languish that would have been snatched up in a min a year ago.... I don't disagree that summer is a slow a slow time of year for rifle sales. I do believe that a classic hunting rifle will sell at a fair price at any time of year. And I would hesitate to hang the 'languish' label on a rifle ad that hasn't been listed for 24 hours yet. 😏
