Saw a report today that the majority of the DACA kids are 21 years old. Now they knew they were here illegally ,so why did they not try to become,e citizens?
They want the free stuff ,but not the responsibility of becoming a citizen

Kinda like all those "minority voters" who can't find two hours in their busy schedule to get an ID to vote. Too much of an "imposition" on those folks.....OTOH, the Govt didn't have any issues with taking TWO YEARS of Dad's life back in the 60's to go serve the Army.

With a 6 month delay, Congress will "act" to prevent deportations. The Leftniks will run with this one all the way toward the next election regardless that DACA was illegal and unconstitutional from the start.

The midterm election will painted as those who want to be "nice" versus those who want to be "lawful."

Y'all are missing the political brilliance of the way this was done and the timing.

Way it was done: It gives congress 6 months to come up with a plan. Congress can't get legislation passed for chit right now. It puts the onus on congress. It's going to make them look like they can't accomplish anything and that they won't vote on what they ran for in the case of RHINOs. Which is true.

Timing: In 6 months all house members and 1/3 of the senate are in the middle of reelection campaigns so it will force every single one of them to take a position on DACA and show their colors, which can be used against them if they flip flop (looking at YOU, Paul Ryan).

I doubt the weak kneed, back stabbing, ethically bankrupt, scum sucking slime rino's in congress will aid in ANY way in solving this unconstitutional policy that hussein obama instigated!
The chances are great that our legislators will just keep kicking this problem down the road (bending over for the elected demonrats and allowing them to sodomize elected rino's at will!).
Sad.
But at least President Donald J. Trump is trying to undo the massive and horrendous harm hussein obama inflicted on this country.

I was taken in by Rino Ryan during his VP run, but when he didn't manhandle Uncle Joe in the VP debate I quickly started to see the real picture.

I saw the speech. With Sessions, it was about enforcing all the laws on the books. Going by the constitution and what our Forefathers had in mind in the beginning. I think Sessions is going to get tough now. The 5th circuit and the Supreme Court have already addressed some of this on DACA. Sessions and them are in step on this one.

It's a good move. Blame Obama, who did it because Congress couldn't act and come up wiht something, so he made one up. What he did was create law, which isn't his job.

Several states were about to sue the government saying DACA is unconstitutional. By doing what they did, they agree, it's unconstitutional, they give a 6 month window that if your permit expires you can renew, after that , sorry, no. Also, those that expire in March have until October to renew, that's fast.

Essentially Sessions said "it's unconstitutional and if it goes to the courts it will lose and be shut down immediately". This way, there's a grace period for people to try to do the right thing, or for congress to create a law.

Congress, he through the ball to. Do your job and create a law or it means we shouldn't do this. As said already, it's election season. So no more hiding.

Problem is if a republican is replaced in an election it will almost surely be with a democrat. That's the issue with "replace them all". If you do, you replace with the other party.
