handwerk aka, Randy, Still no fires on Shane Ridge or nearby, right now it is 38 degrees, and as clear as it has been in a month or so. Of course, still no rain either!

Smoke is absolutely horrendous here, visibility is about 500 yards, and then it's a wall of smoke. The sky is 'clear' but the sun looks like a dim light bulb.

I have seen worse here, 100 yards visability and falling ash a few years back. We have been mostly 1-2 miles visability for a month now. Sucks but it could be worse.

Trip to Lincoln was stinger smoke almost the whole way. Tapered off a little at Clearwater, about 12 miles viz north of Lincoln toward the Park fire but not enough detail to tell what is burnt. Good column on the west end of it, I suspect that's where the dozer is working now.
