They knocked Misery out da' park!

I would like to see the new It. I think the John Ritter version sucked balls.

The previews for the new IT look better than the old one. The old one was too damn long.

Lotsa duds in the mix but quite a few good to great ones too.

The Shining, Green Mile, Carrie, Shawshank Redemption, Stand By Me,...

Those are great ones. It just seems hard to capture Kings [bleep] mind on film.

I watched The Dark Tower a month or two ago and it sucked.....

Annabelle was pretty good, it was the 2nd movie at the It doubleheader at the drive-in, though the wife and I had previously seen it. Wife was literally shaking.

It is a 2 part movie. Part 2 is supposed to start filming early 2018 (part 2 will be the adults 30 years later). The kids were great in the movie

My oldest daughter and I have tickets for an 11 a.m. showing Saturday. Apparently some scenes were filmed in the town next to where I now live. Want to see how much of it we can identify.

I read the book and saw the first movie.

I never understood why one o'them kids didn't just hit that clown in the head with a fuggin' Louisville Slugger and be done with it.

A werewolf might give me trouble,...The blob might give me trouble,...various ghosts and goblins might give me trouble,....but a fuggin' clown is gonna get his fuggin' head knocked.

My wife used to read alla them Stephen King books religiously.

They caused her to squawk out in the night while I was tryin' to sleep.

I eventually had to ban them from the house.

Want to see it, read the book way back when and enjoyed most of it.

But will spend my money elsewhere, considering what a anti-2A freak Stephen King has become.

If you do see it, may as well go ahead and buy his gun control book as well.

Well we know the folks running the drive-in.They typically close by early September but stayed open for It. They have worked hard to keep it going and there was a big push and money donated so they could get a digital projector a year ago. There were very few film movies left anymore.

I know where our $9 for entrance and money for popcorn and soda is going.

Stand by Me is just excellent. Carrie was pretty good. Most of King's other stuff that's been made into movies or mini-series' aren't that great but are watchable. I hardly ever go see a movie anymore. Taken the kids to see the remake of True Grit and that might be the last one I've seen. I may go see Bruce Willis' take on Death Wish when it comes out though.

There's a Stephen King mini-series titled, "Mr. Mercedes", airing on TV now. It's been pretty creepy so far, though at times a bit slow moving .

IT was my favorite book as a kid.

I always thought The Talisman would have been a good flick if done right. One of his underrated works. IMO

The only King book I really enjoyed was Tommyknockers. Of course the TV movie failed to do it justice, though it was interesting to see Traci Lords in the production.
