Is this normal? Ordered a BL22 FLD Grade 2 in May for a retirement present. Dealer told me to check back in a month. June came and he told me check back in July. July came and he told me that the Browning Rep said a couple more weeks. It's now mid September and the answer is that it can take some time. I'm about to cancel the order.

Cancel the order. The guns are all over the net.. Your dealer is being a twit.

Right now, Davidsons has 19 in stock on three different models.
Buds gunshop also has all three models.

You might get a different "dealer" as the one you now have seems to be pretty worthless.
