They're too young to know about the nation. They're just emulating the NFL without knowing anything about what they're doing. If my kid did that, we'd be 'discussing' it but quick. Blame their parents and what they watch on TV.

Yeah; I blame the parents, the coaches, and the other umpteen million brain dead Americans who continue to pour millions of dollars into the coffers of that politically correct, political activist, soap opera / circus / reality show known as the NFL. Bunch of 8 year old kids don't really grasp what it is they are doing, although by age 8 they should be learning. Then we wonder why they all grow up to be such left wing snowflakes.

That [bleep] wouldn't fly here nor would my son fail to stand for the colors or the anthem. If he did my ass would be dragging his ass off that field the moment the anthem finished.
Went to the high school game on Friday and both sidelines stood respectfully until the anthem was over and the colors retired. When families instill values in their children these incidents just don't happen, even if half the coaching staff are veterans. Being respectful isn't an option in my house, it's not a choice it's a requirement. All my children are proud of this country and honor the sacrifices made on their behalf, they've been instilled with the truth that our freedom has come at an extreme cost and they need to thank God everyday that there are men brave enough to have secured those freedoms for us.
Our 15 year old wants to follow in his older brothers footsteps and join the Marines. His older brother however wants him to play football in college and follow a different path. I'm so proud of my kids that whatever they do I know they'll honor their country and the Lord.

How many days do they spend lifting weights?

a lot of people of all races have bought into this crap and it's just sad they feel compelled to bring the kids into it. Remember the grade school class that were taught to sing a song praising Obama when he was elected. This stuff has no place in our schools or public athletics.
