I'm looking for a square thread 99 barrel that can be rebored to 35 cal. I don't know if I need a barrel from a 99F or if I can use an older barrel from a 300 Savage. I'm guessing the chamber would need to be in good shape as that will go largely untouched.

There's a couple of clunker .300 Savage barrels on gunbroker right now, seller admits the bores are trashy. Not getting much attention so far.

I've got a candidate to nominate. I can get you the taper and barrel stamp specifics when I get home this evening, I can't even remember if it was a takedown or not. It's no beauty queen, ruff bore for sure, I'll check the chamber more closely tonight, I believe it's a 303. Outside has lost most of the blue, but could be re-blued. Be willing to trade for other 99 or 110 parts.

This barrel is too skinny for a rebore. Sorry.
