I recently picked up a 1950s era Savage 99F Featherweight in 250-3000. Serial number 777XXX, with a Weaver K3 in Weaver mounts on top.
I'm planning on taking it to a Reno gunshow in a couple of weeks to sell it, and I'm not at all up to date in the current market price of this version of Savage 99.
Can anyone give me a ballpark of what I should be asking for it?
You can see pics in my image gallery in the Miscellaneous Topics forum - I have no idea how to get those pics into this post!
P.S. Can anyone tell if those are original Savage sling swivels?

Thanks for the info, but where did it sell? I'd like to take a look at it and compare if pics are still available. Certainly not pristine. Sling studs are an add on. Blemishes on both wood and metal. At least that's what I see in your pictures. On the left cheek of the butt, it appears to be either a deep scratch or crack. That being said, I would say $500/650 tops

The two I have now were both over $1000. No damage or add ons..

Excellent! Thanks for the opinion - that's exactly what I'm looking for. And it's a scratch, not a crack (fortunately).
