Due to the increased volume of sales from members of the fire The Frankenstud Slingamarig Sling Keeper is now patent pending and also for sale via Montana Sling Company and it is still available from me.

I was able to reduce the the cost by 20% and can now offer these for $40 shipped to the lower 48

Now taking Paypal

Now made of CNC turned glass bead blasted 6061 aircraft aluminum and held in place by one stainless steel screw.

Once in place it will securely prevent a slung rifle from falling or slipping off your shoulder.

A special Thank You to all of those on the fire who have made this project a success.

What colors are you planning on offering with the powder coated version? Much of a price increase for the coated version expected? (trying to weigh buying one now or waiting on the coated)

I'm looking at keeping it simple with black, tan and olive

The cost for adding powder coat will be $5

That's what I wanted to hear. I'd spend $5 in spray paint and it still wouldn't be as tough as proper powder coating. I'll wait until you start offering the coated batch. You have one in tan and one in olive waiting with my name on it.

What are you using to make the hole in the pack?

A small hole is achieved by using a heated nail or wire such as an old coat hanger.

By using this method the heat cuts a clean hole and "welds" and seals the hole

Does this work with something like a 2" wide Butler creek sling?
