So I bought this stock when I thought I would build a tactical rifle, but it seems to be something I am not going to get around to. The stock had not been taken out of the wrapping until I did so to take these photos.
$525 plus shipping, which is about $200 off current list price.
The particulars:
McMillan A3-5, standard fill
Inlet for LH LA Remington 700 and clones
Thumbwheel cheekpiece adjustment
Barrel channel is 1.3" at receiver, 1.1" @ 2.75" from receiver, and .93" at forend tip (9.8" from receiver)
Weight is 3# 5 oz.
LOP is adjustable through spacer system.
Two sling studs in the forend; no flushmount cups.
The stock was originally inlet for a Stiller TAC300, which is a Remington clone. A Remington 700 fits fine, with the exception that the front of the Tac300 receiver is longer than an a Rem 700, so the mortise for the recoil lug is currently too far forward. Cutting out a new mortise is a simple task.
(The little silver pin in the photo above is in the action and has nothing to do with the stock.)
Remington 700 factory bottom metal fits fine, albeit with a little room in the inletting. Your choice of tactical bottom metal should be a drop-in.
