For those of you that don't visit rimfire central, I thought I would post a link to the special that JWH Custom is having on one of their CNC bolts. For 50.00 shipped it is a decent deal.

Truer headspace, pinned fireing pin, better extractor and the rear of the bolt has been radiused to improve operation and reliability.

For the average folk you need to do nothing. However if you wish to shoot teeny tiny groups alongside accurate bolt guns, then you need to tweak.

JimHNSTL: Thanks for the link and explanation.
I may have to try one in my main 10/22 (semi-customized already with a heavy Lilja stainless barrel)?
Would be a fun project over the upcoming winter.
Thanks again.

I keep wanting to send my 77/22 there just to see if it will shoot better yet. However it shoots pretty good now and I find myself concerned, what if it gets worse. Randy does very good work so I doubt I would be anything but pleased. One of these days though I might just give in to the urge.

Think about what you're saying. The fat kid down the block can't run a 4 minute mile so nobody else should? You can't get an A on a math test so nobody should? Limiting the capable to the level of the incompetent? WHY?

Let’s say I’d do it again.
