I was unaware of Jans until after he had become PW'd.  However, it was with trepidation that I picked up his book about Timmy Tastewell and that fiasco. It surprised me at how well it was written and seeming "mostly" balanced.

Jan's early works were some of my favorites. He's an above average wordsmith and his subject matter was right up my alley.
But man did he ever change That girl he married must be something else.
My sis went to hear him speak, I did not, stuff to do and I don't find much common ground with him these days
But he knows in his heart what Clarence would say about his conversion. "Too much bullchit"
I'm pretty certain when we sing our anthem and mention the land of the free, the original intent didn't mean cell phones, food stamps and birth control.
