OK, it looks like this year that the potential participants have an entirely wrong idea of what constitutes a Dink. Ya'll coming on here with these monsters are going to do nothing but water up the gene pool, and next thing you know, a 140-class will be a dink. Now is the time to get ahold of this thing and straighten it out before it gets too far out of hand. THIS is a dink. The high dollar Punkin Rifle definitely adds to the Dinkness of the poor deer............  Little deer can be hard to hit....ya need good equipment. It's a story to share if you miss a monster, but to miss a dink......

I got some other "Dinkers" sighted in today.
Guide gun, zeroed with a 300 grain HP load, a .30-06 I put together from spare parts, and my ML, a CVA accura.
I don't know if I'll use them all, but they's ready if I need them.
The .30-06 seems particularly accurate, it may become a dedicated Dinker.

Got my dink slayers ready this past week. Have a remy 700 loaded up with some 220 grainers, and a marlin .45-70....Ya know, those dinks get harder to kill every year.
If I can line up two of them and knock down both is that more, or less points??

If I can line up two of them and knock down both is that more, or less points??

. The overall score of the antlers will be combined, so ultimately its a bad thing cause you can't win with four antlers vs. two... I'll update the Rules and Regulations book...

I was going to take a picture of the nutsack, but the camera said there was no more room on it to take another picture. evidently that buck was so big, it ate up all my memory...

My preparations so far: I arrived early at the range. ![[Linked Image]](https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4460/38014406861_02a5e82ab2_z.jpg) I zeroed my Guide gun, and a couple others, but this is the main one for dink hunting. .45-70 is the weight range stamped on the gun. 45 to 70 lbs is about the ideal weight range. The judge needs to know that I was actually varmint hunting with my new 218 Bee and I shot this dink in a prairie dog hole, thinking it was a prairie dog. When I found out it was a buck deer, I had to burn my "A" tag.
Hunting season is over for me, but I should at least win the Dink-A-Thon...

Stunt shooting should be worth a few extra points. A 218 Bee in the ear, I'm impressed.
