Thanks oldguns.

As someone asked.......MIne is the blued version

I really went out there primarily to cure the DBC ( as mentioned), and to sight it in. I was expecting accuracy, but not necessarily to this extent, especially with the factor ammo. I've had several T3s and they've all shot sub MOA easily, but this one may be "special". It also balances a bit better (not that any of them are bad), and it may have something to do with the 24" barrel length. Not sure.

I will be anxious to see what the chrono says, but I'll take accuracy over speed.

No picture of your new rifle?
I thought you might have one on here. I know, it looks like a Tikka.
Congrats on your new rifle.

I have one ordered in 7mm-08

Have a good day.

JG, I have a 7mm RM T3x and another in ,30-06. The longer barrel balances better for me also when comparing my Tikkas side by side. I just got the call that my 6.5 is shipping.

Count on it!

Pretty typical Tikka stuff going on there.

It oughta kill big mule deer!

My new T3X 6.5 is the Forest model chambered for the Swede, but the results I'm getting are nearly identical - ridiculous!

I like it, and have found the reticle a bit more friendly to my 56 yr old eyeballs than I thought it would be. It does track and move like you tell it to , that's for sure. I will probably eventually get one with a little more magnification to fool around with. This 3-9x has only killed several dozen hogs so far (previously mounted on a .243) and it's worked well.

Luckily for me I've never been a sock crawler, and I have no issues at those ranges. Mine stays on 9x most of the time, except when smacking hogs, because 80% of the time I'm banging away at steel, trying to get uber-familiar with all this mil/mil stuff.

That COL fit in the mag looks a little long for the tikka rifles I have maybe it's a optical illusion
